How to Create Boundaries Using The No-Go Zones and Virtual Wall Features Of Your Tapo Robot Vacuum
Using the Tapo app, you can add No-Go Zones and a Virtual Wall to designate areas in your home where you don’t want your robot vacuum to go.
No-Go Zones
With the No-Go Zones feature, you can create rectangular zones on your Smart Map, which is ideal for keeping your robot vacuum away from areas or obstacles such as pet bowls, carpet, clutter, or other locations where your robot vacuum may have difficulty navigating.
If there is an area in your home where you find your Tapo Robot Vacuum getting stuck, adding a No-Go Zone for that area can directly address this.
Virtual Wall
The Virtual Wall feature allows you to create an invisible barrier that your robot vacuum cannot cross, confining it to a particular area, and preventing it from getting too close to anything delicate or potentially dangerous obstacles like stairs.

1. Tap the Menu icon on the top-right corner, then Tap “Maps”.
2. Select the map you want to edit, then tap “Zones”.
